The Cash4Life Lottery in New York replaced what was the Sweet Million draw that was offered from 2009 to 2014. It is called ‘Cash4Life’ as it gives players the chance to win cash for life. While this is its main offering, Cash4Life also offers players the chance to receive a lump sum.

Cash for Life is an annuity game offered by the lotteries of nine states, including Indiana, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Maryland and Virginia. The first draws took place in June 2014. In New York, Cash4Life replaced Sweet Million, a draw game that was offered from 2009 to 2014.

How to play Cash for Life
Ticket sales for Cash4Life close at 8:45 PM EST, with the drawing taking place every day at 9:00 PM in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. If you want to play, all you need to do is pay $2 per line, pick five numbers from 1 to 60 and select a Cash Ball number from 1 to 4. You can also opt for a Quick Pick if you don't feel like selecting your own numbers. If you match all five main numbers drawn as well as the Cash Ball, you'll have landed a sweet payday for life!

For $2, you have the chance to win two lifetime prizes, playing the regional, multi-state CASH4LIFE® draw game. Match all five white balls and the Cash Ball to win the $1,000 a Day for Life top prize! Match just the five white balls and win $1,000 a Week for Life!
Pick up a CASH4LIFE playslip at an authorized Florida Lottery retailer. Each playslip contains five panels (A-E).
To play, in each panel:

- Select five numbers from 1 through 60 in the upper play area, or mark the QP (Quick Pick) box and let the terminal randomly pick some or all of your numbers.
- Select your Cash Ball number from 1 through 4 in the lower play area, or mark the QP (Quick Pick) box for the terminal to randomly select your Cash Ball number.
- To play the same numbers for more than one draw, simply tell the retailer how many advance draws you wish to play or select the number of draws in the Advance Play section of your playslip.
- Review your selections carefully. CASH4LIFE tickets cannot be canceled.
- Give your completed playslip and payment to the retailer ($2 per play for CASH4LIFE). You will receive a ticket printed with your numbers, drawing date(s), and total cost of the ticket.
- Check the official drawing results to see if you're a winner! You can watch the drawing live and past drawings on www.livestream.com/CASH4LIFE. Drawing results are available on this website, at authorized Florida Lottery retailers and at (850) 921-PLAY (7529).

Drawings are held daily at 9:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Tickets may be purchased until 8:30 p.m., Eastern Time, each night. Tickets purchased after that time will be for the next night's drawing.

Each night CASH4LIFE® drawings are conducted, in which five out of 60 numbers (white balls) and a Cash Ball number between 1 and 4 (green ball) will be drawn at random. There are nine ways to win CASH4LIFE prizes by matching the winning numbers drawn in the official drawing for the date played. Match all five numbers plus the Cash Ball to win the top prize or match any of the non-top prize-winning combinations to win other great cash prizes!
All CASH4LIFE prizes must be claimed in the state where the ticket was purchased. CASH4LIFE prizes must be claimed within 180 days after the winning drawing date. Federal income taxes will be withheld from CASH4LIFE prizes as required by the Internal Revenue Code at the time payments are made. Any additional federal, state and/or local taxes shall be the responsibility of the winner. Prizes less than $600 can be redeemed at any Florida Lottery retailer. Prizes, other than top prizes and second prizes, can be claimed at any Florida Lottery office. Top prizes and second prizes must be claimed at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
If you claim a prize on a winning Advance Play ticket before all of the draws on the ticket have occurred, you will be issued a continuation ticket for the remaining draws with the same play numbers as the original ticket.
